Crêperies are typical of Brittany in France; however, crêperies can be found throughout France and in many other countries. Crepe fillings reflect the local produce of the area. For instance, a favorite Mexican crepe from Chihuahua would be filled with honey, pecan nuts and La Lechera - a form of sweetened condensed milk.
Crêpe's may be served as both a main meal or a dessert.
